White Doves

White doves offer one of the most precious types of birds. Typically known for their association with peace and as the symbol of love in weddings, they are also known as the Sacred White Dove or Java Dove. They are not only one of the most easily recognizable species of bird, they also enjoy a rich history which enjoys ties all the way back to writing regarding Noah’s arc!

One of the particularly interesting types of dove is the white homing dove. This type of bird is a very strong flyer and has a strongly developed natural homing instinct. However, it should be noted that these homing doves are a distinct type of bird from white doves, so if you are looking for a bird with homing abilities you will not be able to find it in these types, and their tendency to fly in a fluttering and roundabout manner instead of straight is yet another reason why you should check twice if you are in deed looking for a homing bird.

However, what they lack in homing abilities they often make up in magic related talent! These are actually quite an intelligent type of bird and they are often used for magic tricks because of this intelligence. Plus, this particular type of bird is not afraid of the dark or enclosed spaces, which makes them an even friendlier partner for a wide variety of magic tricks.

In addition, these birds possess a very sweet and gentle nature which makes them ideal birds to have as pets.
